Technical aspectsĭevelopers did much more than just upgrade the elements from the previous game. The main protagonist is now able to use a variety of new hits and has been equipped with new webbing supplies.
Another crucial element of the game, apart from the exploration, is combat. The creators spent a lot of time developing the open world structure players get to explore while swinging on spider-webs, which, thanks to the upgraded system, cling to the buildings. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features an upgraded version of the mechanics implemented in the previous installment. Both projects share certain threads and scenes however, they generally follow different paths resulting in the game’s fresh script offering something new for those who have seen the movie on the big screen.
Story-wise, the game continues the events from 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man, and is not an adaptation of the movie starring Andrew Garfield. The game has been developed by Beenox, a Canadian studio responsible for the previous installment of The Amazing Spider-Man series. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an action adventure game featuring one of the most famous Marvel superheroes.
